This Shipping Policy describes how orders are processed, produced and shipped by Stijn van Aardenne, located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
1. Production & Dispatch Times
1.1 Ready-made items
Items that are in stock are shipped within 7 days of receiving your order.
1.2 Made-to-order items
Most works are made-to-order and require a production time of 4–6 weeks.
Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on studio workload and material availability.
1.3 Small-batch, handmade production
Because many pieces are handmade, 3D-printed and finished in small batches, occasional variations may occur. This is part of the nature of the work.
2. Shipping Locations
2.1 Worldwide shipping
We ship worldwide from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
If your country does not appear at checkout, please contact us at info@stijnvanaardenne.com, and we will arrange a shipping option for you.
3. Carriers & Methods
3.1 Carriers used
We ship with various carriers depending on location and service level.
For international shipments, we typically use UPS, insured where possible.
3.2 Shipping cost calculation
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and item size/weight.
Custom quotes may apply for large objects or deliveries outside standard zones.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Fees
International orders may be subject to local import duties, VAT, taxes or brokerage fees.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer.
We have no control over these fees and cannot predict them.
5. Delivery Issues
5.1 Damage during transport
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible and within 7 days of delivery.
Include clear photos of the item, packaging and shipping label.
We will arrange repair, replacement or another appropriate solution.
5.2 Lost shipments
If a package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us immediately.
We will coordinate with the carrier and assist in resolving the situation.
5.3 Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, strikes, global shipping disruptions, etc.).
6. Packaging
All works are carefully packaged to ensure safe transport.
Larger objects may ship in custom wooden or reinforced crates, depending on size and destination.
7. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
We are not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
8. Tracking
You will receive a tracking link once your order is shipped.
Tracking updates depend on the carrier and destination country.
